Based on cambridge dictionary, “home” can be defined as someone’s or something’s place of origin, or the place where a person feels they belong.
When someone says “home is a person”, they may be referring the idea that right person feels like a place where they can rely on whenever life feels so wrong.
The word “home” goes beyond the physical space of a house or a place and takes a turn toward emotional connection with a special person. Home is like a warm feeling surrounds you.
Home is a place where they can be themselves without getting judgement, trustworthy, and accepting every flaws. That person becomes a source of emotional support and a constant in the ever-changing aspects of life. They stay with you and become a flashlight to lead you through the darkest place.
Maybe you’re still thinking that being an independent person is okay, and that’s true; there is nothing wrong with that. But it’s also okay if you want to find “home” who can be a partner to face the hardships in life.
It’s hard to finally make a decision to choose a person to be your home. Finding someone who shares similar values, perspectives, goals, and interests can be challenging.
But, once you got the right person it might be a good point on your life. The companionship, understanding, and support they have can significantly enhance your happiness and comfort.
The right relationship can act as a catalyst for personal development. Sharing support on each other and encouragement often lead individuals to feel inspired, propelling them to become better versions of themselves.
Home is where you are most comfortable being your absolute self.
